HOLY HEART ATTACK!!!

You, my sweet little princess, are not funny!  You gave me and your daddy a heart attack this morning.  Today we had a routine checkup at the doctor's.  We go, I am suppose to pee but I couldn't this morning, they check my blood pressure, weight, etc. then we check your heartbeat....Ooooh, but wait, where is your heartbeat?!?!  I went into MAJOR Panic mode....and Mike wouldn't even look at me. I think we were both about to die!  "I JUST FELT YOU MOVING THIS MORNING!!!" was all I wanted to scream! The nurse wouldn't make eye contact and kept running the Doppler all over my belly.  She asked where they usually find your heartbeat, etc.  I was about to LOOSE IT!! Then after about 5 minutes, which felt like an eternity, there you were...beating at 150bpm like usual.  Whew!  NOT FUNNY, little one!

Turns out, you are very low, which the doctor later told us, once you get into that spot, you will most likely stay low the whole pregnancy...it is where you are most comfortable.  No wonder I have to use the bathroom every 20 minutes already and it's already SO hard for me to get off the couch!!!
Everything else is fine....you are measuring perfect, I have only gained 6-8lbs (I can't remember the exact number I started at) which I am impressed about, considering all the pumpkin and sweets I crave.

I got refills on the Zofran....I have decided we more than likely will have morning sickness the entire pregnancy, since most women stop having morning sickness between 12-14 weeks.  The doctor is not worried, since it is only late at night/early morning, I am gaining weight, and we are measuring right on target.

In the next week or two the doctor said we will be able to feel you MUCH more and regularly....your daddy will even be able to feel you!!  How exciting....it's taking a little longer because my placenta is right up front in the way, whatever that means!

All in all, great visit, once we knew you were okay!!  We love you so much, sweet girl!!
